Industry News – Primary & Secondary Network

This is a great opinion piece from my mate Matt, who happens to be the big cheese behind the Primary & Secondary Network.

.

He had a similar journey to me, by discovering Lightfighter.net years ago and the exposure to expert, competent and professional knowledge.

.

Lightfighter though, is primarily for infantry and military personnel in other combat arms to increase professional development.

.

What Matt has done with Primary & Secondary is to expand the user base to armed professionals (military, police, security and armed citizens) who wish to seek out good knowledge and increase their skills.

.

This year, Matt asked me to become a moderator on the P&S Network. It’s a hell of a compliment to be accepted for such a role in a predominantly American forum.

.

We have similar outlooks in that we ask “Why?” of the things we see and do, and seek validity and context of knowledge.

.

Expanding the base knowledge of end-users by explaining the “why” of processes and procedures behind the scenes is another major goal.

.

Hence, you can see why the Primary & Secondary network and Packs and Beyond has similar mindset and outlooks. I’m really looking forward to working more with P&S and bringing the unique Australian outlook to our American allies.

.

To that end, we’re looking at a couple more podcasts in the future.

The next one we’re planning for will be about QC, QA and scientific method in the gun manufacturing industry.

.

Another one in the planning pipeline is Part 2 of our previous Nylon and gear podcast episode.

.

This is looking to provide good things, some education and a few laughs between like-minded people confused by each other’s accents.
