The Cheerleader – Refurbishment Part 1

For those who have been following along for the last couple of months, Part 1 of the Cheerleader refurb project is complete.

.

Work completed on the buttstock on my Marlin 1894C:

– old factory varnish stripped off

.

– Grovtec flush cups installed

.

.

.

.

.

– stained a dark walnut colour

– re-finished with Tru-oil

.

.

.

.

The results speak for themselves. I’m liking how this turned out.

Part 2 will be to do the same to the forearm.
