SHOT Show 2017 – The Lead-up

Get ready Las Vegas!

After a hiatus of several years, Packs and Beyond will be attending SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

I’ll give my customary report of stuff that interested me as has been seen in previous years.

It will be an opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones, which is something I always enjoy.

Hopefully, America is ready. Ready with Australian English to American English translators so I don’t get arrested for offending others through innocent turn of phrase. And for my dance moves. It was touch and go last time I was in town, narrowly avoiding being arrested for being an affront to good taste whilst on the dance floor.

Seasons Greetings – 2016

It’s been pretty busy around here, so let me take this opportunity to wish all of you, our readers, followers and supporters a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Please be safe whilst enjoying the time with family, after all it’s not Christmas until the riot squad is attending, after you’ve told the in-laws what you really think of them whilst intox.

For those if you on duty, please watch your flanks and be safe – I worry otherwise.

It’s been a big year around here.

Professionally, it’s been a bit lack luster.

Personally it’s been hectic with the addition of another child to our family.

There’s some really exciting thing’s happening with Packs and Beyond though.

We’re hoping to add and develop another guest reviewer.

A trip report will be forthcoming about a visit to a company, that is starting to highlight our position as industry professionals.

There will be several trip reports as a side benefit of consulting work carried out by Packs and Beyond. SHOT Show in Las Vegas will be the first trip.

So 2017 is starting to look really promising.

I’m really looking forward to all of you joining us for the journey.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
